Jamie Lustberg is a graduate of Cornell University’s College of Art & Architecture. She began her film career as the lead visual arts producer for the Peabody Award-winning PBS series EGG THE ARTS SHOW, for which she won three Emmy Awards, a Cine Golden Eagle, and a Gracie Allen award.
She was a consulting producer on the Sundance Channel BRICK CITY television series, BET’s SECOND COMING, and CNN’s CHICAGOLAND. Jamie and Mark Benjamin developed Brick City TV’s “Ocean Warriors” for The Discovery Channel, Robert Redford’s Sundance Productions, and Paul Allan’s Vulcan Productions. The series won the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival for the Best Television Series.
Jamie has directed shows for Mattel, Disney and HBO kids. She has Executive Produced series for OWN, Lifetime, Turner Sports and has EP’ed over 40 hours for Discovery ID, most recently the series: “Calls From the Inside” based on a concept she created. She was the Senior Producer for Disney/ABC’s primetime documentary, “Behind the Magic: The Making of Snow White,” and produced the ABC/ESPN documentary, “Special Olympics: 50 Years of Changing the Game” for director Rudy Valdez. She was a Consulting Producer on Valdez’s feature documentary, “The Sentence,” which won the Audience Award at Sundance in January 2018.
Her most recent project was Scout Production’s documentary: “Title IX: 37 Words that Changed America,” with EP and host Candace Parker for Turner Sports.
